The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals Case Medical Center and the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center has established preeminent programs in research, clinical practice, education and training.
Our missions are to engage in meaningful basic, translational and clinical research related to infectious diseases; to enhance the care of adults with infectious diseases based upon sound scientific evidence; and to promote and share knowledge to reduce the burden of disease due to infections worldwide.
We are incredibly proud of our tradition and accomplishments in contributing to the advancement of treatment of infectious diseases locally, nationally and worldwide. Facing the challenges of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases at home and across the globe; we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care for our patients, providing exceptional fellowship training to the next generation of Infectious Diseases physicians and continuing to make scientific breakthroughs through our world renowned research.
