Message from the Division Chief, Dr Robert Salata

The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals Case Medical Center and the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center has established preeminent programs in research, clinical practice, education and training.

Our missions are to engage in meaningful basic, translational and clinical research related to infectious diseases; to enhance the care of adults with infectious diseases based upon sound scientific evidence; and to promote and share knowledge to reduce the burden of disease due to infections worldwide.
